I can’t believe this would be my last blog. It feels kind of weird because it was something that I had to do at the end of every week and it kind of felt like a vent. I remember in high school my freshmen and sophomore year I had to write journals every day I had to write a journal everyday I had to write two pages about anything I wanted it was pretty hard because I had nothing to talk about much. Keeping a journal or blog in this course was very easy because it was on a weekly basis so my thoughts build up over a period of time especially on the free write journals. The blogs that we had a topic for were sometimes easy to get 350-400 words out but other ones were very tuff like the one about winning the lottery. I had so much trouble writing about that but I had to dig deep and think about it. Overall keeping a blog ahs helped me get a lot of feelings out because I don’t write a lot like I used to so this was actually a helper. It was also a relief from writing the papers and the different units. English 101 taught me lessons in general though it taught me that things won’t always come easy. I will have to work extra hard o get something that I really want. It also taught me that English is not the class for me it made me realizes how high the standards are set to actually pass this class. I now understand how fortunate I was in high school and all the complaining was not worth it because it is ten times worse in college but thankfully this would be the last English class I take in my life.

Normal is tooo Normal
When I first got to the town of Bloomington normal it seemed very boring. Where I’m from you see people everywhere and when I got here I saw no one anywhere except on the college campus. That seemed very odd but it would be my 2nd home for some years so I had to get used to it. The other thing about this town is that there are way to many rules for no reason. When I thought about it they just make those rules so that they can get money off of out of town people who do not know the rules that well. For instance the no skateboarding, j-walking, or blowing the horn these are ridiculous and they seem exclusive to us college students. They know when we are trying to get to class we will take extreme measures like not crossing the street at the corner. Yeah very extreme, blowing the horn I really don’t understand that one I do not know who this benefits or who it harms that’s why it makes no sense. The only fun I have here in normal is on campus when events are held and that’s the only time I invite my friends. When they do come we take a trip to the mall but the mall is just as horrible as the town even though they have some of my favorite stores it’s such a hassle getting on the bus system and having to be on their time. The bus drivers are often nice except for the driver who usually drives the pink d to the Wal-Mart on Vernon. He is a really rude middle aged fat white man and I dread having to go to Wal-Mart because I would have to get on his bus. I did have one good experience is when my family came and we stayed in a hotel and I got a chance to go swimming and we went to eat at buffalo wild wings. Maybe the only reason I do not like normal is because I am limited in terms of me being able to explore because I do not have my own transportation maybe next year I will have positive things to say.

UGH!!!! (IS HOW I FEEL ABOUT ENGLISH 101)
I would have to say this has been one tough/ easy week. First off on Monday I woke up with cold like allergy symptoms. It was horrible I had a throbbing headache and a super stuffy nose with very itchy eyes. I could not make it to my favorite class in the world biology and that upset me but I was alright because I was able to attend the lab. My week has also been tough I have found things out about the things that really interest me and my classes I have to take. Okay first off there is English, I think that in this English course that it is not possible for me to get a grade better than a C, my papers are just never good enough but the upside is that this is the first and last English class I will ever have to take but the downside is that I have to pass and it seems the harder I try to get an A the farther away from it I get. With that said, I have to say I love biology and math, I love them because in biology the most you have to write is a lab report and its based off of your research so the right answer lies within you and those reports are very concise. In math you write numbers and there is always a right answer the hardest part would just be trying to get the answer but at least you do not spend aimless hours to get a not good enough just as in English for me. This week was also kind of easy I had no major projects or test to do and I mastered factoring in my math class and I was pretty excited about that. Those were the highlights of my hard/ easy week.
